Introduction to Cognitive Science: COMP20090
We now offer an undergraduate module entitled "An Introduction to Cognitive Science". This is available as an elective to undergraduates throughout the university. It is a level 2 module, which aims to introduce students to the subject area of cognitive science. Topics to be covered include

- Movement
- Vision
- Representations
- On Time and Space
- Perception and Action
- Studying the human brain
- Memory
- Cognitive Psychology
- Consciousness
- Modelling methologies
This course should be of general interest. There is no assumption that students will have any prior knowledge of psychology or cognitive science. Lectures will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the second semester. In order to make the corse available to as many students as possible, each lecture is given twice on the same day.
